HART Communication Foundation

The HART Communication Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that provides worldwide support for application of the HART Protocol. Established in 1993, the Foundation is the technology owner and standards setting body for the HART Protocol.

The Foundation manages the Protocol standards, ensures the technology is openly available for the benefit of the industry, supports application of the HART technology worldwide, and educates users through training workshops, a quarterly newsletter, exhibits at major industry trade shows, and an interactive website.
