An Instrumentation Technology Scholarship is available for students seeking an education that leads to permanent employment in the oil and gas production or process industries that use instrumentation to control mechanical, physical or chemical processes. This scholarship is for students currently enrolled or are planning to enroll in the Instrumentation Technology two-year degree programs offered by IICTA member colleges in Texas and Louisiana.

Scholarship Awardees:

Jason Bailey of Louisiana is a recipient of a 2003 Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Alliance (IICTA) scholarship. Jason is an industrial instrumentation student at Louisiana Technical College- Sowela Campus in Lake Charles.

Ida Fisher of Texas is a recipient of a 2003 Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Alliance (IICTA) scholarship. Ida is an industrial instrumentation student at Lee College in Baytown, Texas

Teresa Jones of Louisiana is a recipient of a 2003 Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Alliance (IICTA) scholarship. Teresa is an industrial instrumentation student at Louisiana Technical College- Ascension Campus in Sorrento.

Shawn Kramer of Louisiana is a recipient of a 2003 Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Alliance (IICTA) scholarship. Shawn is an industrial instrumentation student at Louisiana Technical College- Ascension Campus in Sorrento.

Ron Harris of Texas is a recipient of a 2003 Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Alliance (IICTA) scholarship. Ron is an industrial instrumentation student at Lee College in Baytown, Texas.

These $2,000 scholarships are offered by the IICTA and sponsored by BP Exploration and Production, Inc.
