Fieldbus Process Control Systems
4 credit hours
Prerequisite: INTC 1441, READ 300 or equivalent
Fieldbus Process Control Systems A comprehensive view into the field of instrument technicians with regards to fieldbus systems. Fieldbus equipment and systems with the theory, applications and hands-on experiences preparing the student for the installation and maintenance of this apparatus will be introduced.

Computer Integration
4 credit hours
Prerequisite: INTC 1450, READ 300 or equivalent
An advanced course in integration of hardware, software, and applications. Customization of computer systems for specific applications in engineering, multi-media, or data acquisition. Fieldbus applications are emphasized. The student will design special applications in the areas of multi-media, data acquisition, and engineering; install and maintain various hardware and software componentsfor specialized applications; and analyze and test system operations.

A prerequisite of READ indicates that the course has a skills prerequisite based on scores on local placement tests or there equivalent.
