Rich Timoney

Richard J. Timoney is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Fieldbus Foundation in Austin, Texas. Timoney, who previously served as the foundation's Vice President-Member Services, has more than 20 years of experience in the process and factory automation field. Prior to joining the Fieldbus Foundation, he was involved in sales, marketing and field operations management for such industry-leading companies as Honeywell, Yokogawa and Bailey Fischer-Porter. His most recent position was Vice President of Marketing for Total Control Products, Inc., a division of GE Fanuc.

Timoney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering, and attended the Master of Business Program at Drexel University. He has been a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, ISA (the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society) and the American Management Association.
