Michael Bryant joined Matrix Corporation, a VMEbus systems manufacturer, as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 1988 after retiring from the US Navy Submarine Force. In 1992, he joined PEP Modular Computers, a VMEbus and SoftPLC corporation, as the Vice President of Global Marketing. With assistance from the Profibus Nutzerorganisation (PNO) in Germany, he founded the Profibus Trade Organization (PTO) in January of 1993. Mr. Bryant left PEP in January 1995 to serve full-time as the Executive Director of the PTO, with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. He also serves as the Managing Director, Americas of Profibus International, whose headquarters are in Karlsruhe, Germany. Mr. Bryant is also the Executive Director of the AS-i Trade Organization (ATO). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (with honors) from Vanderbilt University.
