Gwen Syzdek
Rosemount
Gwen is currently a Senior Account Manager for Emerson Process Management’s
Rosemount Division. She has been specializing in field instrumentation
for Rosemount’s field operations group for the last seven years.
In 1998 she was selected to the President’s Club for outstanding
sales leadership. She specializes in the upstream oil and gas market
and has been engaged in many successful Fieldbus projects. Prior to her
tenure at Rosemount, Gwen was employed by ITT Snyder and Watts Industries.
Gwen is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station,
Texas. She holds a Bachelors of Environmental Design or B.E.D. This Environmental
Design program is a highly regarded five year program in Architecture,
with an emphasis on environmental systems and integration.
Gwen has served in the Instrument Society of America for the last eight
years. During that time she served in many leadership roles culminating
in the Presidency of the Houston Section. The Houston Section is the
largest section in the global ISA organization. During her tenure,
the Houston Section received its first Outstanding Section Award from
ISA
headquarters.
Gwen has also served on the Administrative Board for the First United
Methodist Church of Houston. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum
Engineers and the Sanctuary Choir for First Methodist Houston. She
maintains a private architectural consulting practice and is active
in her community.
She has been married for seven years. She and her husband, Brian,
are proud parents of three year old Matthew and are expecting baby number
two in June of 2002. |
