Gary Cliett IEC
Simulations

Gary Cliett has twenty-six years of experience in the chemical industry including operations, instrumentation, and electrical. He is founder, President and CEO of IEC Simulations, Inc., a company that specializes in teaching troubleshooting methodologies to the petrochemical industry, including the K&S Process System Surveillance and Troubleshooting 3-step methodology. His direct involvement with project installations and process unit start-ups has enabled Mr. Cliett to develop expert troubleshooting techniques with industrial controls circuitry. Mr. Cliett is responsible for the development and implementation of distributive control system procedures that have been utilized globally. Additional experience in the field of training and education has allowed Mr. Cliett to obtain critical knowledge of OSHA and Process Safety Management regulations and standards. Mr. Cliett has been recognized throughout industry in the United States with numerous awards and certificates. He served as an advisor and subject matter expert for Lamar State College – Port Arthur and Lamar Institute of Technology – Beaumont. Presently, Mr. Cliett is serving on the National Advisory Committee at Lee College for the “Center for Digital and Fieldbus Technological Education.” Mr. Cliett is developer of the IEC Interlock and Control Circuitry Simulator and author of its course material.
