Robert Kosar

Robert Kosar has 27 years of experience in industry with an emphasis in designing, developing and implementing technical training programs. He has also worked in the process industry as a Process Control Group Supervisor and Process Engineer.

Mr. Kosar has performed and managed all aspects of information and cutting-edge control systems development from conception through design, development, testing, and on-going support. Three off the shelf software product developments and dozens of custom products and implementation service projects have been completed with his direction. His projects have involved real-time process simulation, expert systems, database systems, and a Windows based information delivery, reference and testing system with tools for authoring, managing work processes and maintenance of the information knowledge base.

Many of his products and projects were designed and implemented to meet the information delivery, training and tracking requirements of ISO 9000. He has assisted several corporate, plant and unit implementations of these systems in developing system performance criteria, project plans, personnel training, management and follow-up audits.

Previous positions with ARCO and Shell included work and supervision in their process control groups. As such, he was responsible for implementing advanced process control and optimization applications at major world scale plant sites. His responsibilities included designing, recommending, specifying, implementing and maintaining the process control applications, distributed control systems and computer control centers.
